The Mister Tasty truck was built in 1977 in Boston, Mass. and came to Saskatoon that year. It is currently unknown who the first owner was, but the second owner of the truck was Neil Robertson. At one time Neil had three Mister Tasty trucks, but he sold two of them. One went to Winnipeg, Manitoba and the other went to Kallona, British Columbia. It is believed that both of these trucks are still running, but under different names. We bought this truck and the Mister Tasty name in 1998.

The Mister Tasty truck has been at Canada Day in Definbaker Park for at least the last seven years (although I think it has been there longer than that).

If you have any information about the history, or any stories about the Mister Tasty Dairy Mobile truck please let us know. It would be nice to know who the first owner of the truck was, and to know a bit about the early menus. Pictures of the earlier Mister Tasty trucks would also be welcomed. Send us an e-mail to info@mistertasty.com with your comments.
